Encouraging continued professional development and achieving the highest standard of practice is embedded within the A & I ethos. There is an abundance of support and opportunity for our practitioners to advance their skills.
An in-service is a method of continuing a clinician’s education. The responsibility of this continued training is shared between the practicing physiotherapists. A & I hold one session a week, focusing on relevant topics and the latest evidence based practice
James Cook University
- It is compulsory for first year physiotherapy students to attend an observation session at a local musculoskeletal clinic. A & I Physio are proud to welcome JCU students, with 25 first year students already passing through the doors.
- Currently A & I is the only outpatient private physiotherapy clinic within the Townsville region to offer a 5 week, full time clinical placement for their third and fourth year physiotherapy students.
- A&I also have 5 week full time clinical placements for fourth year exercise physiology students.
Evidently there is no shortage of professional development opportunities at A & I Physio. We pride ourselves on this and believe continued practitioner support, longer treatment sessions, ultramodern facilities and the multidisciplinary environment sets us apart.
